Special memorial concert 80 years Market Garden

A special memorial concert to commemorate the 80^th anniversary of Operation Market Garden by an international choir, assembled for the occasion, composed of 32 singers from involved countries (including the U.S., the U.K, Germany and the Netherlands). The classical repertoire that will be performed during this evening was created by various composers from all of the countries that were involved in Operation Market Garden. One of the magnificent pieces of music was especially composed for this extraordinary occasion.

This  special choir is conducted by choir director  and composer Peter Leech (son of a veteran). Leech has an impressive track record. He conducted different choirs around the world. He is currently also teaching at the Cardiff University of Music in Wales. In addition, organist Marcus Bergink and storyteller Bert Rebergen will be participating in this concert.

Doors open 7.30 pm (with coffee/ tea, for a fee), start: 8.00 pm, ends around 9.00 pm (there is no break).
