Higher education
The Infocentre WW2 Nijmegen gives a short and interesting introduction to the history of the Second World War in Nijmegen and the region. For this reason, it is the perfect location for schools in higher education to let students come into contact with regional history. The Infocentre WW2 fits perfectly into discussions about freedom, peace, and democracy, for instance for a subject about citizenship. The Infocentre offers, among other things, an interactive regional map, a short film/experience of the history of Nijmegen during the War, and a separate room where exercises can be discussed. The centre is the perfect starting point for a historical city walk with a group.
