Photo project 'The Faces of Groesbeek'

In the context of "75 years of freedom", the Faces to Graves foundation is organizing the event "The Faces of Groesbeek" at the Canadian War Cemetery on the Zevenheuvelenweg in Groesbeek.

There are almost 3000 graves of our liberators on this war cemetery. We place all the photos that are already available at the graves to give you an impression of these young men who lost their lives in the struggle to give us that freedom. The purpose of the non-profit organisation Faces to Graves is also to compile their life story, preferably with a photo, letters or other memory to commemorate them in a Digital Monument.

During these days volunteers of Faces to Graves are present who can tell you more about the fallen soldiers.
