Full experience of WWII history in the Nijmegen region
For those who like a full day to explore the rich WWII history of Nijmegen and its surrounding towns.
Your programme:
- Visit to the Infocentre WW2 Nijmegen (1 hr).
- Historic city walk through the centre of Nijmegen. You can choose from the following themes: ‘The Bombing of Nijmegen 22 February 1944’ or ‘The Liberation of Nijmegen'* (2 hrs).
- Lunch (soup, one sandwich**, coffee/tea and orange juice) at the Linderberg Café.*** (max. 100 pers.) (1 hr).
- Visit to the permanent and temporary exhibitions of the Freedom Museum with film and an introduction (2 hrs).
- Coffee/tea and apple pie at the museum café (30 min).
- Walking the Sunset March (1 hr).

** There is variety of sandwiches. They offer different types of bread and spreads. There are also vegetarian options.
*** The Lindenberg Café is closed on Sundays, except when you book a package deal for 50 to 100 people.
NB: The Sunset March occurs daily at sunset. It is therefore recommended to book this programme in the afternoon.
NB: This package could be expanded with a guided tour through the exhibitions of the Freedom Museum (€ 57.00 per guide. Maximum of 20 visitors per guide).
